As God's family of friends here at First Baptist of Glen Este our desire is "To Know Christ and To Make Him Known." 

Some of the last words that Jesus said on earth before ascending into heaven are recorded in Matthew 28:18-20, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Five Purposes:
First Baptist is committed to five purposes of the church based on Matthew 22:37-39 and Matthew 28:19-20:

    Love the Lord with all of you heart
    Love your neighbor as yourself
    Go and make disciples
    Baptizing them
    Teaching them to obey
