Upward basketball and cheerleading is a ministry for boys and girls 4 years old through 6th grade. The league will instruct the players/cheerleaders both the fundamentals of their sport from a Christian perspective. 

Player Evaluations-
    
    Monday, Dec. 3 between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
    Tuesday, Dec. 4 between 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
    Saturday, Dec. 8 between 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

    *Players must attend ONE of these scheduled evaluations. 
    
    *Purpose of evaluations is to size the players for uniforms, take a picture for gameday introductions, and evaluate skills in basketball. (Cheerleaders will do the same only learn a cheer instead of evaluate skills)

First Practices- Week of January 7, 2013

    *All practices are on Monday or Thursday on the campus of FBC Glen Este in the Family Life Center
    
    *Kindergarten will practice Saturday, January 12   

    *Practices are 1 hour in length.
    
    *You will receive your practice schedule before the first practice.

    *Game schedules will be given out at the first practice.

Cheer Clinic- Saturday, January 5 from 10-11:30 a.m.

    *Cheerleaders will meet their coach and get their uniforms.

First Game- Saturday, January 19, 2013

    *All games are held on the campus of the FBC Glen Este in the Family Life Center
    
    *Games are 1 hour in length, please arrive 20 minutes early to prepare for introductions.

Awards Celebration- Saturday, March 23, 2013


Kindergarten Notes:
    
    *Kindergarten players/cheerleaders do not practice during the week.
    
    *Practices (30 mins) and games (30 mins) are both on Saturdays.
    
    *Practices and games are an hour total.
